Ride Standard: The phrase “Potential is Boundless”, is a huge part of what BTC is. We were born as a means to change the culture of cycling by motivating, inspiring, encouraging and supporting all riders (BTC or otherwise). As our organization grows, it remains our primary goal to ensure that each member attain their potential. Every ride is a journey; no rider will always be the strongest and no rider will always bring up the rear.  So that each of us have opportunities to maximize our experience on the bike, please adhere to your guidelines posted to the listserv and all riders on reoccurring BTC rides will hold themselves to this standard. Therefore, if you post a ride or accept an invitation to ride, please take responsibility for yourself.  It is an expectation, not a courtesy, that a posted or reoccurring ride will meet the description. When members join you for your ride, do what you specified.  And of course, when accepting an offer for a ride, be aware of your fitness level and ability.

ABOUT

Founded in 2011, Big Tree Cycling (BTC) seeks to create a comfortable cycling environment where people feel welcome and want to participate – an environment where everyone can grow. It’s not about how strong you are, the number of events you’ve participated in, the races you’ve won, or, for that matter, your current fitness level. Where we are today is not where we can be tomorrow. Potential is boundless.
